Hello and Welcome! My name is Becky and at the age of 59, I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. That certainly turned my life upside down. Upon further exploring about being diagnosed with something that is traditionally referred to as Juvenile Diabetes, I learned that what I have is not Juvenile Diabetes, but Latent Autoimmune Diabetes in Adults - aka LADA! Many refer to it as Type 1.5 Diabetes. This is a diary of how I am learning to live with LADA.
